The www.Source Input Africa.com website (hereinafter the “ Source Input Africa.com Website “) is a global marketplace composed of buyers and sellers (collectively referred to as “the Users ”) who reside in various countries around the world. To ensure the safety of all users and for the purpose of maintaining an orderly marketplace in compliance with all applicable and relevant local laws and regulations, not all categories of products may be listed on the Source Input Africa .com Website.
In addition to prohibiting and restricting the listing of products which are heavily regulated or completely banned by legislation, Source Input Africa .com has also implemented prohibitions and restrictions on products which although are not prohibited by law, are controversial by nature, examples include the following:
Items that encourage illegal activities (e.g. lock pick tools, synthetic urine for cheating drug tests);
Items that are racially, religiously or ethnically derogatory, or that promote hatred, violence, racial or religious intolerance;
Items that promote an element of chance (e.g. giveaways, lotteries, raffles, or contests);
Stocks, bonds, investment interests, and other securities;
Pornographic materials or items that are sexual or obscene in nature; and
Items that do not offer a physical product or service for sale such as digital currencies.
This Product Listing Policy provides the categories of products which are restricted from being listed or sold on the Source Input Africa.com Website and also those which are completely prohibited . The categories of products and their examples detailed below are not intended be exhaustive or all-inclusive and should be used as an informational guide only. The seller is at all times responsible for ensuring that they do not list or sell products which are restricted or prohibited by the laws in effect of any jurisdiction.
Sellers are reminded that the laws of every country are different and that the law in effect in their country of residence may not be the same as that of the country where their potential buyer resides. Accordingly, prior to listing any product on the Source Input Africa .com
Website, all sellers are strongly encouraged to seek legal advice from a duly licensed legal
practitioner from your own country and that of the country you wish to sell to, such that
you are well informed of the relevant laws and regulations you and your product must
comply with prior to selling on the Source Input Africa.com Website.
For the purposes of this Product Listing Policy, a “ Relevant Online Transaction ” is a transaction that is supported by source input Africa terms and conditions.
Source Input Africa .com, in its exclusive and absolute discretion, reserves the right to amend, modify or otherwise alter the list of products subject to a listing restriction or prohibition at any time with or without prior warning to Sellers. In the event that Source Input Africa.com exercises such discretion, there is no requirement for such amendment to be reflected in this Product Listing Policy however, generally a notice to that effect will be made available in the Source Input Africa .com Website. Users are encouraged to keep abreast of the notices made therein such that they can be better informed as to whether a certain product may be listed on the Source Input Africa .com Website.
To the extent of any inconsistencies, ambiguity or conflict between the contents of this Product Listing Policy and the terms, conditions or contents of any other document applicable in using the Source Input Africa .com Website (including other language versions of this policy), the English version and the decision of Source Input Africa .com exercised in its absolute discretion shall prevail at all times.
1.1 Source Input Africa.com expressly prohibits the listing or sale of the following:
All narcotics, tranquilizers, psychotropic drugs, natural drugs, synthetic drugs, steroids, medicine containing prohibited ingredients and other controlled substances including all drugs listed in Schedules I, II, III, IV or V of the Uniform Controlled Substances Act, 21 U.S.C. 801 et seq. and any other drugs listed in corresponding or similar legislation of other countries.
All drug precursor chemicals (such as those listed in the Convention on Psychotropic Substances of 1971);
All drug paraphernalia, including but not limited to, items that are primarily intended or designed for use in the manufacturing, concealing or using a controlled substance, such as pipes used in the ingestion of illicit substances, injection tools and other drug-taking tools;
Packaging materials which are known to be specifically utilized for the purpose of containing controlled substances;
Materials that are conducive to the smuggling, storing, trafficking, transporting, using or manufacturing of illicit drugs, e.g. marijuana grow lights;
Publications and other forms of media providing information related to the production of illicit drugs; and
Any other items or equipment which may be disguised or perceived as drugs, precursors or drug paraphernalia.
2.1 Source Input Africa.com expressly prohibits the listing and selling of the following:
Explosives and related ignition and detonation equipment;
Inflammable and explosive chemicals;
Radioactive substances;
Toxic and poisonous chemicals, e.g. certain kinds of highly toxic pesticides;
Hazardous or dangerous materials, such as the dangerous goods listed in the International Maritime Dangerous Goods Code;
Ozone depleting substances;
Products containing harmful substances or materials (e.g. asbestos and products containing asbestos, toys containing lead paint, automotive airbags and related accessories due to containing explosive materials etc.); and
Any items containing chemicals or substances which may cause irrevocable damage or threat to any third party or community as a whole.
2.2 Source Input Africa .com exempts the following items from the listing and selling prohibition in Article 2.1 but only where the seller is properly licensed as a seller of the following product in Africa and the sale does not constitute as a Relevant Online Transaction:
Fireworks, firecrackers and associated products
3.1 Source Input Africa.com expressly prohibits the listing and selling of the following:
Any instructions (regardless of medium), processes, aid or services related to the production of any biological, chemical or nuclear weapon or other Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) or known associated agent;
Any firearms, ammunition or explosive weapons and/or any related parts and components of the foregoing (whether integral or otherwise);
Military equipment of any country whether standard supply or described as military equipment in the relevant laws of any country/region and the related parts and components (whether integral or otherwise) of such military equipment;
Replica “look-alike” or imitation firearms and/or any related parts and components of the foregoing (whether integral or otherwise), e.g. BB guns, paintball guns, harpoons, spear guns and other weaponry;
Weapons that may discharge a projectile containing any gas, chemical or explosive substances; and
Any other items which may be perceived as firearms, ammunitions, weapons or military equipment that may instill fear and threat to any third party.
4.1 Source Input Africa.com expressly prohibits the listing and selling of the following:
Weapons that can incapacitate or cause serious physical harm to others, including but not limited to, stun guns, batons, crossbows, machetes, gurkha knives, katanas, hunting knives, knives that can be screwed onto shovels or other tools, double-ended knives, air gauge knives, slasher knives or other devices. lead canes, lead axillary canes, hard-head whips, oriental sticks, bamboo-like sticks, vine-staffs, long sticks, arbor sticks, police whips or heavy leather whips, heavy sticks, bludgeons, self-defense sprays that contain irritants and stain attackers' faces or sprays that do not contain irritants and attack attackers' faces (such as pepper sprays, etc.), catapults, tactical pens, meat cleavers, special army knives, messer knives, karambits, zombie knives, wedges, sickles, stranded wires and chains, knuckledusters (bladed or not);
Restricted knives, e.g. switchblades, gravity knives, bladed handheld devices, disguised knives and any other knives that can be concealed or are concealable to the extent that a reasonable person may not be able to identify the item as a knife at first sight; and
Any instruments of torture, such as those used for the death penalty, torture, and other cruel, inhuman, or degrading punishment.
4.2 Each country may define weapons differently and may impose different legal requirements on length, size, blade or purpose. Sellers are required to comply with any applicable laws or regulations of any applicable destination country accordingly.
4.3 Notwithstanding anything herein, Source Input Africa .com maintains full and absolute discretion over the classification of whether a certain product constitutes as a weapon. Source Input Africa.com may at any time, with or without warning to the seller, cause the removal of any listing that it considers a weapon.
5.1 Source Input Africa.com expressly prohibits the listing and selling of the following:
Any article of clothing or identification that is, perceived to be or is considered by Source Input Africa .com to appear sufficiently similar to, that which is worn or used by government officers in the execution of their duties of any applicable country or region
Any equipment that is, perceived to be or is considered by Source Input Africa .com to appear sufficiently similar to official law enforcement equipment from any public authority, e.g. law enforcement badges, police cars, government issued hand-cuffs, any police equipment and associated products which is commonly used or adopted by officials of any applicable country or region;
Any item which has an explicit reference to “military” or “war” in its product name, description, image or is clear to any reasonable person that such item has military or war purposes;
Any item that is, perceived to be or is considered by Source Input Africa .com to appear sufficiently similar to official military decorations, medals and awards of any applicable country or region;
Any article of clothing or identification that is, perceived to be or is considered by Source Input Africa .com to appear sufficiently similar to, that which is worn or used by personnel employed within the mass transit transportation industry, e.g. commercial airline pilots, flight attendants, airport service personnel, railway personnel and mass-transit security personnelof any applicable country or region;
Any manuals or other materials (regardless of medium) relating to mass transit commercial transportation, e.g. safety manuals published by commercial airlines and entities operating subways, trains, buses and ferries; and
Any official, internal, classified or non-public documents of entities within the mass transit transportation industry regardless of whether the entity is privately or publicly owned.
5.2 Source Input Africa .com exempts the following from the listing and selling prohibition detailed in Article 5.1 above but only in the event that Source Input Africa .com in their absolute discretion considers such items as unable to cause any reasonable person, by reason of a person being in possession of the items below, to mistake their identity for a person currently in the employment or representation of the government, public authority or a mass-transit transportation entity:
Police uniforms, police insignia and police vehicles products which are obsolete and in no way shape or form resemble the current issue police uniforms, police insignia and police vehicles;
Authorized general souvenir items such as hats, pins, pens, buttons, cuff-links, T-shirts, money clips and paperweights which do not contain the actual badge;
Badges that are clearly not genuine or official e.g. a toy police badge;
Historical badges that do not resemble modern law enforcement badges, provided that the item description clearly states words to the effect that the badge is a historical piece at least 75 years old or that the badge was issued by an organization that no longer exists;
Vintage clothing related to commercial airlines or other mass-transit provided that the description clearly states that the item is at least 10 years old, is no longer in use and does not resemble any current uniform; and
Manuals or other materials related to commercial transportation, including safety manuals published by commercial airlines and entities operating subways, trains or buses where the description clearly, truthfully and accurately states that the material is obsolete and no longer in use.
5.3 Source Input Africa .com shall also exempt the following items from the listing and selling prohibition in Article 5.1(b) subject to the seller possessing a proper license to sell the following items in Africa and the sale being constituted as not a Relevant Online Transaction:
Police equipment and associated products that do not bear the insignia of any law enforcement agency whatsoever (regardless of country), cannot be used to cause harm and cannot be used to restrain
6.1 Source Input Africa.com expressly prohibits the listing and selling of the following:
Prescription drugs, radiopharmaceuticals, hormones, medicines containing prohibited ingredients, API and intermediates;
Vaccines and special medicines, such as stimulants and blood products;
Any product containing sexual health related drug ingredients including but not limited to pharmaceutical products, supplements, topical skin products, sprays, essential oils, traditional Chinese medicines, food and other products that contain these ingredients
Any products that claim or suggests that it enhances sexual functions or advertises effects such as delayed ejaculation or aphrodisiac qualities, including dietary supplements, foods, topical skin products
Weight-loss or health care products that contain prohibited ingredients or medical claims;
Dermal filler products e.g. botulinum toxin and lecithin
Herbal medicines, e.g., hemp flower, hemp powder and certain Cannabidiol ( CBD) related products; and.
Over the counter (OTC) drugs.
6.2 Sellers possessing the requisite industry-specific qualification for manufactural enterprises and the seller possessing the relevant production permit, Source Input Africa.com exempts the following item from the prohibition in Article 6.1(f) above:

7.1 Source Input Africa.com expressly prohibits the listing and sale of the following:
Any pornographic, violent, vulgar or obscene materials as generally defined or understood in any major jurisdiction.
Any items depicting, encouraging or suggestive of bestiality, sexual abuse, rape, incest, sex involving graphic violence or the degradation of any living being or animals, or sex involving minors;
Audio-visual products containing pornographic and obscene content or account numbers and invitation codes for websites that allow access to such products;
Sex toys or dolls which contain nude or otherwise sexually explicit images in its product description, name or image (regardless of whether such nudity involves a real person, a dummy, or simulated genitals etc.);
Used underwear; and
Any product which contains language promoting bloody, violent, indecent and vulgar ideas or has such language in its product description, name or image.
7.2 In the consideration of whether a particular listing should be removed from the Source Input Africa .com Website on the basis of its contravention of Article 7.1 above, Source Input Africa .com will take into account the overall content of the listing including images, pictorials, text and inferences.
8. CIRCUMVENTION DEVICES AND OTHER EQUIPMENT USED FOR ILLICT PURPOSES
8.1 Source Input Africa.com expressly prohibits the listing and sale of the following:
Any products for the purpose of misrepresenting a person’s identity or personal information regardless of whether the product is forged, fake or real, e.g., official documents, certificates, official seals, medals and other identity documents issued by government authorities, and the equipment and materials with which such products can be created, forged or altered;
Financial certificates and bank cards as well as the equipment, materials and methods which can be used to forge the aforementioned items and relevant documents;
Software and equipment which can be used to monitor the activity of others discreetly, steal private or confidential information, e.g., wire taps, software which grants users control of another’s computer;
Any items that can be used to gain unauthorized access to protected, restricted or premium offerings such as television programmes (such as satellite and cable TV), internet websites, telephone applications, information data or other such services, e.g., descramblers and decoders;
Any illegal programs (whether by reason of counterfeit or region restrictions) or hacking software which grants access to property or content that the user of the software is unauthorized to;
Any products that provide information or instructions on “how to” use any equipment listed under this Article 8.1, e.g., instructions on how to use a decoder to access paid streaming services for free;
Any products designed to intentionally block, jam or interfere with authorized radio communications or other authorized signals, such as cellular and personal communication services, police radar, global positioning systems (GPS), wireless networking services (Wi-Fi), signal booster, signal jammer etc.;
Any equipment used to illegally photograph, video record, sound record or otherwise collect information or evidence e.g., hidden cameras, pinhole cameras, etc.;
Point Of Sale (POS) systems (including MPOS), card readers and other payment terminals with data collection function or financial transaction related functions or financial authentication capabilities, including but not limited to, Union Pay authentication, Visa Paywave, PCI authentication etc.;
Any other items which may assist an individual in gaining access to unauthorized content, information, control or property; and
Any other illegal instruments or equipment which can aid any party in committing crimes, e.g. lock picker, specialized theft tools, bank card readers and “skimmers”.
9.1 Source Input Africa .com expressly prohibits the listing and sale of services that provide or claim to provide the following services or services related to:
Services usually provided by government authorities and related products, such as:
Official government issued identification documents, e.g., birth certificates, driving licenses, passports and visas;
Completed applications for the above-mentioned documents;
Any materials, equipment or processes designed for use in the production of government-issued documents, e.g., driving license holograms, passport booklets;
Services which create any form of invoices or receipts (including blank, pre-filled, value-added invoices or receipts);
Financial services, including money transfers, issuing bank guarantees and letters of credit, loans, fundraising and funding for person investment purposes, etc.;
Insurance services, including brokerages;
Any services provided for the sole purpose of collecting personal information;
Medical or healthcare services, such as services for medical treatment, rehabilitation, vaccination, health checks, psychological counseling, dietetics, plastic surgery and massage;
Services which provide bulk email or mailing lists that contain personally identifiable information including names, addresses, phone numbers, fax numbers and email addresses;
Services which use software or other tools which are designed or used to send unsolicited commercial email (i.e., "spam") on behalf of buyers and the software and tools themselves;
Job postings seeking to directly recruit temporary or full-time staff;
Any services which offer to provide or require any personal and non-business information regardless of purpose;
Money laundering, illegal fund-raising, illegal money transfers, enquiry services related to the finance industry, e.g., banks, lending companies, financing of terrorism and the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction are prohibited;
Personal privacy information and internal data of corporates;
Personal mobile phone location spoofing, phone number list enquiry and bank account enquiry;
Legal advice, lottery, gambling and educational certificate application;
Sex including pornographic videos (pre-recorded or live videos whether interactive or not);
Accompaniment and chatting;
Debt recovery;
Fan, audience or 5-star recommendations and review adding services; and
Illegal evasion or avoidance of any payments e.g. tax, phone bill, alimony, stamp duty.
9.2 Source Input Africa .com also prohibits the listing and sale of any products which are obtained from or manufactured by any illegal means, including but not limited to, stolen property, counterfeit products, and products which infringed third party rights.
10.1 Source Input Africa.com expressly prohibits the listing and sale of the following:
Legal tender, financial assets, postage stamps, credit and debit cards, e.g., currency, coins, financial warrants, banknotes, stocks, bonds, money orders, investment interest as well as the equipment and materials used or marketed to produce such items;
Counterfeits of the items listed in Article 10.1(a) above regardless of form and quality, any items that may be mistaken for the items listed in Article 10.1(a) above as well as the materials and equipment used to manufacture the items listed in this Article 10.1(b);
Any form of virtual or digital currency such as cryptocurrency as well as specialized equipment used to mine any form of virtual currencyand relevant accessories;
Gold, silver and other precious metals in their natural form whether processed and refined or not (jewelry containing precious metals does not fall within the scope herein);
Rough diamonds and “conflict minerals” which are mined for in conflict zones and would benefit directly or indirectly benefit armed groups by way of profits from mining licenses etc.
Artifacts, fossils, cultural relics, historical grave markers, and related items that are protected under the laws of the major jurisdictions, including but not limited to Africa and the United States; and
Gemstones treated with radiation or artificially clarity enhanced, e.g., glass filled rubies.
10.2 Source Input Africa.com exempts the following items from the prohibition in Article 10.1 above:
Reproductions or replicas of coins as collectible items that are marked with the word “COPY”, “REPRODUCTION” or “REPLICA” and are in compliance with all relevant local laws.
11.1 Source Input Africa.com expressly prohibits the listing and sale of the following:
Human body parts and remains, such as organs, bones, blood, sperm, and eggs;
Any species of flora and fauna (in part or in whole including pelts, skin, internal organs, teeth, claws, shells, bones, tusks, ivory, logs, roots and other parts) protected by the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild flora and fauna (CITES) or any other similar local law or regulation as well as the tools used for culling or processing such products;
Any products made from and/or containing any ingredient derived from sharks or marine mammals and the specialized equipment used in the culling or processing for such items;
The body parts and remains of generally accepted domesticated animals such as dogs and cats, e.g. internal organs, bones, blood, sperm, and eggs and the specialized equipment used in the culling or processing for such items; and
Live animals, animal waste, plants, seeds and related products.
11.2 Unless otherwise notified, Source Input Africa .com exempts the following items from the prohibition detailed at Article 11.1 above:
Items made of human hair such as wigs for commercial use subject to Article 17.1(d).
12. OFFENSIVE MATERIAL AND INFORMATION DETRIMENTAL TO NATIONAL SECURITY
12.1 Source Input Africa.com expressly prohibits the listing and sale of the following:
Any and all publications and other media containing state secrets or information detrimental to national security or public order;
Any information supporting or advocating for the infringement of national sovereignty, terrorist organizations or discrimination on the grounds of race, sex, or religion;
Any items that may be considered by Source Input Africa .com, any reasonable person, community or government authority as ethnically or racially offensive whether by reason of the item itself or its product description. Users of the Source Input Africa.com Website must ensure that any wording or graphics used by the product or within the product description demonstrates an appropriate level of sensitivity to those who may be availed to the listing; and
The prohibition of listing and sale in this Article 12.1(c) in relation to an offensive product, subject title or product description, may only be exempted at Source Input Africa.com’s discretion in the event such a product is of historical value or the words/graphics used in the subject or description of a listing is integral to the item itself;
Any products that directly or indirectly advocate, promote or otherwise support war, confrontation, terrorism or other extreme ideologies (e.g. Fascism or Nazism etc.).
13.1 Source Input Africa.com expressly prohibits the listing and sale of the following:
Tobacco products, including but not limited to cigars, cigarettes, cigarette tobacco, pipe tobacco, hookah tobacco, chewing tobacco, tobacco leaves and machines which can roll more than one cigarette at a time as well as machines that can roll a more than 200 cigarettes within 20 minutes;
All e-cigarettes, including but not limited to, nicotine and other e-liquids, vape pods, vaping devices and vape kits containing vape pods and vaping devices;
All relevant e-cigarettes accessories, including but not limited to, atomizers, vape pipes, vape pens, vape filters, vape batteries, e-liquid refiller bottles, and vape packaging; and
Products that create atomized vapor, vape nicotines and other products related to e-cigarettes.
13.2 Source Input Africa.com exempts the following items from the prohibition detailed in 13.1 above:
Equipment used for tobacco processing and the production of tobacco by sellers but only after the provision of the appropriate production and sales permits to the Source Input Africa.com Website.
15. INFERIOR OR NON-COMPLIANT PRODUCTS VIOLATING APPLICABLE LAWS AND REGULATIONS
15.1 Source Input Africa.com expressly prohibits the listing and sale of the following:
Products that are (i) identified, publicized, announced or recalled by applicable regulators or authorities of any applicable country or region, (ii) discontinued or eliminated from market, (iii) invalid, expired or deteriorated, due to quality or safety issue;
Products which have failed to disclaim its inferiority, latent defects or make full representation of its second-handed nature through product description, such as used cosmetics, refurbished mobile phones, laptops and computers etc.;
Products that have no production date, shelf life or manufacture name identified;
Products that entail or may cause high risk or potential safety hazard to human and environment due to its inferiority or non-compliance with the safety standards or compliance requirements of the applicable laws and regulations of any applicable country, such as magnetic toy balls or cubes with a specific diameter and magnetic flux range;
Products which have not been authorized by applicable regulatory authorities in any applicable country, such as unauthorized medical devices;
Products that can be described as real estate e.g., land, apartment, house including the land upon which it is built on (structures whereby no transfer of property/land title is required are permitted e.g., prefabricated homes)
Products which have unfounded medical claims or claims related to COVID-19, including but not limited to disinfection cards, proof of vaccine certificates, COVID-19 related testing kits, and any other products that imply a relationship with COVID-19; and
Products that are identified to have violated any applicable product safety law or regulation of any applicable country.
16. CONTROVERSIAL PRODUCTS THAT ARE CONTRARY TO SOCIAL MORALS, PUBLIC ORDER, GOOD CUSTOMS AND HUMANITARIAN PRINCIPLES
16.1 Source Input Africa.com expressly prohibits the listing and sale of the following:
Controversial or sensitive products that may (i) breach lines of morality, humanity, (ii) violate any local society's basic norms, or (iii) jeopardize any social order are strictly prohibited. Such items include, but are not limited to, abortion tools, genetic related products, products related to animal or organ cloning, products related to animal or human experiments, or products that may cause detrimental harm to the environment or society;
Source Input Africa .com has full discretion to define products under this scope and may revise such from time to time.
17.1 Source Input Africa .com expressly prohibits the listing and sale of any products prohibited by laws, regulations, sanctions and trade restrictions of any country/region including but not limited to:
Minerals, industrial machinery, edible farm produce, electronics and electrical equipment, energy, information technology, medical products, logistics, soil, rocks, wood, ships, sculptures, seafood, aquaculture and textile products from conflict areas and any other products derived from or manufactured through forced labour.

18.1 Source Input Africa .com prohibits any products classified as Class IIIa laser products to be listed or sold.
18.2 Source Input Africa.com prohibits the listing and sale of any Class IIIb laser products.
18.3 Source Input Africa .com does not subject Class I and Class II laser products to any restrictions or prohibitions and can be listed on the Source Input Africa.com Website normally.
19.1 Source Input Africa .com prohibits the listing and selling of any illicit drug manufacturing equipment, including but not limited to, any manual, semi- automatic or fully automatic pill press machine that may be used to compact or mold powdered, granular or semi-solid material to produce coherent solid tablets, any manual, semi- automatic or fully automatic encapsulator that may be used to fill soft or hard capsules with any powdered, granular, semi-solid or liquid material, any products which may be categorized as pill press, tablet press and dies, capsule filling machines and soft gelatin encapsulation machines, or any parts, molds, or dies associated with the aforementioned machines.
20.1 Source Input Africa .com prohibits the listing and selling of all radio equipment, such as (i) electrical or electronic products which intentionally emit and/or receive radio waves for the purpose of radio communication and/or radio determination, (ii) electrical or electronic products which must be completed with accessories, such as antennas, so as to intentionally emit and/or receive radio waves for the purpose of radio communication and/or radiodetermination, (iii) repeaters, (iv) signal boosters, and (v) mobile phone repeaters.
Source Input Africa .com restricts the listing and selling of products that contain the controlled substances in the member countries and AFCFTA rules.
30.1 For the sake of convenience, items which have been classified as restricted above, i.e. requiring to have the relevant product qualification requirements verified prior to listing and selling, will be reiterated herein. Fireworks;
PPE;
Police Equipment and associated products; and
Tobacco processing equipment
